Paris May Day Riots
The annual May Day riots returned to the streets of Paris, on a slightly smaller scale than last year, filled with around 200,000 demonstrators. Those demonstrating were angry about the ongoing cost of living crisis, reform of unemployment benefits and some standing in solidarity with Gaza.
